Derick and I were awakened by the fire alarm at 1:55 am. Of course we were unable to reach anyone at our leasing office so we had no way of turning it off so we called the Fire Department. They were kind, but were unable to really help us. Our fire system is faulty so they said that the only way to fix it was turning it off and unplugging the battery. Finally, around 3:15, I reached the emergency contact for our building who told us to unplug the battery. But that left us without the security of knowing that our smoke detectors and fire alarm were doing their job. As a result, sleep was hard to come by. As a result, I hate Urban and Bye even more today than I did yesterday. Getting out of our lease would be just fabulous.
Cleaning and organizing makes my world a better place. I love vacuuming. I love dusting. I love organizing my life. A productive day today. :)
